Riding Bicycles

I was riding my bicyle this morning.  It was raining just a little so the road was quite slippery.  I moved out of the bike lane and into the middle of the road in order to pass a garbage truck.  As I moved back into the bike line, some knucklehead nearly crashed into me passing me on the right.  That was stupid of him.

If you are using an herbicide on a plant that you could simply pull up with your hands, go fuck yourself.

Cars and Bikes

random

we used concepts from calculus all the time in biology. for example, the rate of change in a measurement overtime equals to its derivative, but we never really have to integrate or take the derivative of a function. we are usually using measured datapoints, not any underlying functions. probability and statistics in much more relatvant to what i do that calculus.

the field of biolgy that models everything as a system of underlying mathemtatical functions is called "systems biology". I don't really trust systems biology. It is fundamentally true, since it is based in math, but only loosely based on reality, since biology is so fucking complicated.
